You have a great model and good compositions - I really think you should get into using filters, digital if not physical. A great model and good compositions shouldn't be wasted on snapshot quality photography. And it's easy! You can still use a cheap camera if you clean them up on a graphics prog later on. I recommend Paintshop Pro, that's the cheapest and best quality graphics prog I'm aware of.
